Product description

The IceSpa 7kW is a plug & play full Inverter heat pump for spas especially designed for cold climates, at -10°C air and 38°C water temperature, heat output is still 3.3kW thanks to the EVI (Enhanced Vapour Injection) compressor. In fact with a COP of 2.2, even at -10°C, the IceSpa is two times cheaper than the electric heater to run.

EVI (Enhanced Vapour Injection) improves the energy efficiency of refrigeration and air conditioning systems by injecting additional vapor into the compressor at low temperatures. It is thanks to this innovative technology that the IceSpa is able to perform so well in extreme weather conditions.

Operating down to -25°C, you can heat up your spa or hot tub in the middle of winter, the Full Inverter technology will reduce your energy consumption up to 75% at an equivalent power consumption compared to an electric heater.

Easy to install, the IceSpa is compatible with all hot tubs and connects itself as easily. Ideal for swim spas and Nordic baths, this heat pump will exceed your expectations.

The IceSpa features Wi-Fi temperature control and a programmable timer using the dedicated Poolex App, available for iOS and Android smart devices. A colour touchscreen that can be detached from the unit (wired) can be added as an option.

Connections:

All models are fitted with a mains cable and a European two-pin RCD plug as standard.

Water inlet and outlet connections are 32/38mm, two 32/38mm hose tails are supplied as standard, however you may require additional hose and fittings to connect to your spa or hot tub. The O’Spa should be connected after your spa’s circulation pump and heater, the use of a bypass kit (normally made up of 2 x T-pieces and 3 x ball valves) is recommended to connect the O’Spa.

Supplied with RCD mains cable, anti-vibration pads, 2 x 32/38mm hose tails, 2 x hose clips and 230v relay

Wi-Fi:

The O’Spa heat pump features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity as standard (requires Wi-Fi network with suitable signal strength) and can be controlled from your smartphone. The ‘Smart Life’ App is available for both iOS and Android smartphones.

Positioning:

Your Poolex O’Spa heat pump should always be installed outside, restrictions on air flow around a heat pump such as dense vegetation or solid surfaces such as sheds, fences or walls will lead to a drop in efficiency and heating ability, it especially important that cooled air can be properly dispersed away from the unit.

While the casing provides protection from the weather, the O’Spa should be disconnected and stored in a shed or garage if not in use for extended periods.

Fitting: If you would like a quote for fitting please contact us.
