The ultra compact Poolex O’Spa 3kW is a heat pump designed for spas and hot tubs that can save you up 75% in energy consumption when heating your spa compared to a conventional (built-in) electric heater (at an equivalent power consumption).
The O’Spa is available in three capacities, 3kW, 5kW and 7kW, and can be installed on any type of spa, hot tub or Nordic bath, supplied with 32/38mm water connections (additional fittings supplied separately). If you wish, your O’Spa can even take control of the existing electric heater to optimise your spa’s temperature rise, the included relay will control the electric heater built into the spa.
The 3-in-1 heating / cooling / chilling function of the O’Spa heat pump revolutionises the spa experience by offering extended versatility, heating your spa efficiently for warm, soothing relaxation sessions, and cooling it quickly for use on those really hot days or even using your spa as a chiller – the chiller function reduces temperature by up to an additional 3°C meaning lowest temperature achievable is 5°C.
The O’Spa features Wi-Fi temperature control and a programmable timer using the dedicated Poolex App, available for iOS and Android smart devices

Connections:
All models are fitted with a mains cable and a European two-pin RCD plug as standard.
Water inlet and outlet connections are 32/38mm, two 32/38mm hose tails are supplied as standard, however you may require additional hose and fittings to connect to your spa or hot tub. The O’Spa should be connected after your spa’s circulation pump and heater, the use of a bypass kit (normally made up of 2 x T-pieces and 3 x ball valves) is recommended to connect the O’Spa.

Wi-Fi:
The O’Spa heat pump features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity as standard (requires Wi-Fi network with suitable signal strength) and can be controlled from your smartphone. The ‘Smart Life’ App is available for both iOS and Android smartphones.
Positioning:
Your Poolex O’Spa heat pump should always be installed outside, restrictions on air flow around a heat pump such as dense vegetation or solid surfaces such as sheds, fences or walls will lead to a drop in efficiency and heating ability, it especially important that cooled air can be properly dispersed away from the unit.
While the casing provides protection from the weather, the O’Spa should be disconnected and stored in a shed or garage if not in use for extended periods.
